Winemaking
Pressing of the grapes takes place before picking and the must sticks to the skins until it takes a deep ruby-red colour. When fermentation starts the must/wine is separated from the skins and is filtered. It remains sweet by avoiding fermentation with the use of cold treatment.
Bottling
After re-fermentation in autoclave to obtain effervescence.
In the glass
Red purple sparkling wine.
Alcohol
7% vol .
Tasting notes
Colour: bright ruby-red with purple glints.
Aroma: very intense, persistent, fine and fruity: a fruit salad of cherries, strawberries, peaches and banana.
Flavour: intense, round and sweet, with a final hint of pleasant sapidity.
To be served at 4-6° Celsius.
